UK sports minister negotiating to postpone the CL final

UK sports minister negotiating to postpone the Champions League final from Istanbul.

Difficult negotiations are under way between the British government, UEFA and other parties about where the Champions League final should take place, British politician Michael Gove said Sunday.

The final, which is slated for May 29, will feature Manchester City and Chelsea. It was supposed to be played in Istanbul, but the venue is in question, as the British government has included Turkey on the "red list" of countries for travel due to the situation with the coronavirus.

“At present, delicate negotiations are underway. My friend and colleague Oliver Dowden (UK Minister of Digital Technology, Culture, Media and Sports) is talking to people about this now, and therefore I do not want to talk.

But I'm sure British fans would love to see the final here in the UK,” said Gove.

It was reported that the Champions League final could be held at Wembley. Make bets for Champions League Final in the 1xbet application.
